Leak from PDK Transmission

Came out to the garage the other morning and I found this on the ground underneath my car... It looked like a lot of fluid to me.

It's at the dealership now, and they have determined it is leak from the PDK transmission. They believe the gasket on the transmission fluid pan got pinched during assembly.

Anyone else experience this on a PDK car?

Not sure why mine started to leak finally after a year and a half. Hopefully it's an easy fix. Although I did find another thread where the dealer completely replaced the transmission.

I'll post an update here as soon as I get more information.

PDK replacement ?

Do you have pics of your case ? Only wet on the oil pan of the transmission or dropping oil on the floor like the OP of this thread ?

i don't have pics, but it has been dropping to the floor.

they're replacing the part.
they said something wasn't sealed tight enough which caused this.

Keenan best of luck for a quick and accurate fix. For all you guys whose PDKs are garage queens: Please put some miles on it and put your cars mechanics to a good test before the warranty expires.

Good point. Also a heads up, no warning came up on the dash for this. I first noticed the leak in the parking garage at work, then again in the garage at home. I figure it has lost quite a bit of fluids.

Should have an update from the dealership tomorrow. They said they hope to have it back to me tomorrow afternoon, we'll see.
