it was a great two days and good hanging with my 6speed pal.

i have to say i really enjoyed the last couple runs in the driving rain. something about the water flying off the cars in front that looks very cool. i'm working on posting a video of those sessions...

Nice! Looked like fun. Nothing like working on hitting the apex just right.

Nice driving in the rain KonaKai, looks smooth and easy an yet, you catch up & pass everyone... Good job.

NJMP looks like an interesting track, I may have to make a trip down to check it out next season and add a couple more days of DE to my year.

Cheers,

T.

Thanks v much. It's a nice track and they have two of them there (Thunderbolt -- in the video, and Lightning, which is a bit shorter) so if you go for a multi-day event, you can do both. Speaking of which, there is a 3 days HPDE with PCA North Jersey there on 9/9-9/11. If you (or anyone else) make it, please let me know and we'll meet up.

Your alignment tips definitely helped, as did the Mich Super Sports -- big time. This was my first track days on the new tires. I was noticeably faster and grippier (in all conditions) in the MPSS than the Pirellis, in which I'd be sliding around all the time.
