Any body kits / bumpers that stay close to stock clearance?

Hi all,

I have been searching the forum the last few hours and I have emailed a few kit companies but I thought a new thread might work.

I have a 997 C4S Cab and I'm looking for a full body kit or a rear bumper and wing. My budget is around $2500 so I know my options are somewhat limited.

My issue:

The curb on my driveway is high and even with the stock setup I have to pull in my driveway at an angle. (This is after the city came and repaired it)

Driveway repair is out of the question do to subcontractors not allowed to tear up side walk yadda yadda.

Anyways...

Is there any kits out there that keep ground clearance close to stock? Doesn't need to be exact but really close.

Thanks!

I had same issue re driveway. For front, consider the Cargraphic or Rottech Carbon front lip -- subtle in terms of lower (just a smidgen), but looks great.
I bought mine from Ray at http://www.rotteccarbon.com/997carrera.php and love it.
They also have some for the rear that are hardly lower, though not yet listed on their site -- I stopped into their new showroom in Richmond, BC (near Vancouver) and was impressed by their growth. Ray says website upgrade coming.
(They are a 6speed sponsor -- that's how I found them orig.)

it'll be hard to find. i had bought a GT3 front bumper from precision porsche (i think) and it was made of polyurethane so there was some flex to it. i got use to the scraping sound after a while haha at least the bottom lip is relatively cheap and replaceable.

What year is your 4S? I have the FVD front lip on mine and there's not much difference in terms of ground clearance.

I bought the FVD and am [just] about to install. Question for those who installed already. It has a long strip of double sided tape and ~6 screws. That works fine? Any modding needed to fit it? I'm a little wary of the strength of that tape and with just the six screws holding, I'm a little uptight. Thanks!

Doesn't FVD resell the Gt3Tek lip? They look identical and the picture is even the same?

I used 6 screws on the bottom, and 4 more on where the lip met fender well, I can snap a couple of pictures for you if you would like

THAT would be great. And the provided, Pre-applied tape was enough on the top/front face? Thanks!
