Help me choose a 997

Hi guys, I'm new here and first post. Anyway, I'm currently in the market for a 997.2. I found these three cars. I'm hoping that you could help me and let me know if any of these is a good deal or should I keep looking:

2009 Carrera 2S with CPO ($55,000)
- Carrara White with stone grey interior
- 44,000 miles
- PDK w/ paddle shifter (which I really prefer to have)
- Carrera S II wheel
- self dimming mirror
- standard and heated seats
- BT interface for phone
- first sold on 2008

2009 Carrera 2S with CPO ($55,000)
- Arctic Silver Metallic with black interior
- 52,000 miles
- PDK, no paddle shift (not a fan of the button)
- Navigation System, BOSE, BT
- Sports CHRONO Package Plus
- Carrera Classic Wheel
- Ventilated & Heated Seats
- Bi-XENON Headlights
- Dual Power Seats, and Memory Seats
- carfax report (2 previous owners)

2009 Carrera 4S with CPO ($61,000)
- Meteor Grey Metallic with black interior
- 37,500 miles
- PDK, no paddle shift (not a fan of the button)
- Navigation System, BOSE, BT
- Sports CHRONO Package Plus
- Sport Bucket Seat
- Bi-XENON Headlights
- Sunroof
- carfax report (2 previous owners)
- first sold on 2010

Thanks in advance!

While it may sound odd, but ventilated seats are a must in a coupe. Used mine all the time this summer. Paddles and sport chrono can be added after. I like having Nav, but that is just me.

The 4S hands down. That's almost without a doubt a wide body launch car with a lot of great options including full leather, bluetooth and satellite radio which you don't mention. Had one just like it. The GT2 leather/carbon fiber bucket seats alone are a $9,000 option as I recall it and you'll grow addicted to the feel of those seats unless you're obese or otherwise mobility challenged. A little different to get in and out of but no big deal and very comfortable once you're seated. Steps it up another notch from what you thought was perfection in connectivity with the car.

And don't let the steering wheel sway you either way. You can add your own customized paddle wheel from Dallas Custom for about $1K without core exchange. About half that with a core. I've had two done and he does excellent work. The stock wheels are on the skinny side anyway so this way you get it fattened up the way it should've been to begin with.

First off, thanks for the replies and sorry for not replying on this thread soon. Anyway, for the past days I've been negotiating with the dealerships and it all came down to these two cars:

2009 C4S black/black
- $62K (dealer is firm on the price)
- 37,500 miles
- CPO
- all the options I mentioned above
or

2009 C2S black/grey
- $63K (i can probably get it down to $62K)
- 17,000 miles
- Audi 3yr/36,000 mile warranty (no Porsche CPO)

loaded like the C4S with the addition/replacement of the ff:
- Heated steering wheel
- Turbo wheels
- Adaptive Sport Seats
- Dynamic Cornering Lights
- rear wiper

So as you can see, my dilemma is deciding between a CPO'd 4S vs a lower mileage 2S but comes with the Audi warranty. I'm not sure how good the Audi warranty is.

I saw your post on rennlist forum but I didn't see the C2S with low miles, plus warranty. VW own Porsche and Audi, so Audi warranty is good IMO, the C2S is more fun but the rear is not as wide as C4S. So unless you need AWD for winter and snow driving purposes, I would rather buy the C2S hand down. Good luck

I agree with GotGolf52. The difference in width is less than 2" between a 4S and a 2S.

Just got the carfax report on the 2S. Transmission was replaced at 5K miles. Bummer! If I go with the 4S, how easy is it to replace the sport bucket seat with a standard or sport adaptive seat?
