DIY - coloured shift **** pattern
Hi everybody,
here is a quick and easy DIY to add some coloured accents to your interior of your car.
All you need is some enamel paint and a fine brush, rubbing alcohol and toilet paper.
First dab some alcohol on the toilet paper and clean the shift **** plastic piece. Then fill in the numbers and lines of the shift pattern with paint and dont worry if you get any paint outside the lines. Wait for 5 minutes and then carefully wipe off the excess paint. You want to avoid getting any lint down inside the numbers. Wait 5 more minutes and you're done!
My car is guards red so I think the red shift pattern fits nicely with the exterior. The shifter should now also be more visible at night.
I hope you enjoyed this.
Best regards,
CF

wrap a short nap cloth, like an old t-shirt, around an old credit card. Use that do wipe off excess paint. The tight cloth around the stiff plastic credit card helps keep the cloth from going into the recesses.
