Default Anyone removed powder coat on their hre wheels and polished and clear coated
want to change the character of my wheels. Now powder coated gun metal and I want to make them polished with clear coat.can it be done?

It will depend on the wheel. I tried this with my stock Porsche wheels. Some came out great. Others had too many pits in the wheel face due to casting imperfections. I ended up getting them re-powdercoated after a lot of headaches.
