dash removal

The dash appears to be two parts, the part nearest the windshield appears made of plastic. (The part nearest the occupants appears made of or covered with leather.)
How to remove the dash nearest the windshield? Pop off or screwed in?

By no means an expert or technician.
From what I have read you pop the center channel speaker off then the other pieces (left and right are exposed and you can then pop those off. Use a plastic to tool so you don't scratch the dash.
Also it's beneficial to remove the A pillars from what I have read. Makes it easier to get out and you might even have to.

You need to pull the A pillar off to be safe - there is a metal clip holding the dash part that goes under the A pillar.
Use the plastic pry tool to take the centre speaker cover off - it is attached furthest away from the windscreen with 2 long pop connectors.
Then remove the A pillar and then you can easily pull up the dash pieces.
Sounds scary but actually it's pretty simple.
Be careful with the speaker cover - there is a sensor at the back of it connected with a cable.
