A New Solution for Porsche Seat Belt Mounts- Brey Krause Side Mount System

Brey Krause Automotive offers an array of products focused primarily for race use. They make and produce Harness bars, Belt mounting accessories, Fire extinguisher mounts, aftermarket seat mounting options, braces and much more. They have a great catalog of Porsche racing accessories which now includes their new seat belt mounting option. This new mounting option has made improvements over existing belt mounting methods and is actually cheaper than the competition.

If you have manual sliders in your 997, 987, 981 or 991 then you are in luck. This new mounting option keeps the existing buckle mounting point and stays in the correct location while moving the seat forward or backward.

Item Description:

“These side mounts bolt directly to the factory manual sliders that Porsche used on the 997, 987, 981, and 991. This means the existing seat belt buckle mount point is retained, and stays properly located as the seat is moved forward and rearward. The Porsche sliders are stronger and have longer travel than the aftermarket sliders, with a much nicer feel to its mechanism. This Brey Krause side mount can be mounted on the Porsche sliders in four different positions. This, combined with small included spacers, allows one mount design to cover a large range of seat widths without compromise, while perfectly centering the seat. Our design also incorporates mounting points for a fire extinguisher mount, lap belt mounts for a 4/5/6 point harness, and a sub strap mount that will travel with the seat, keeping them optimally placed regardless of where the slider is on its travel.”
