The bluetooth unit looks great .. I am waiting for someone to do a write-up on connecting the mute/microphone cable inside the cabin .. I don't have the heart to rip apart the firewall

Just upgrade the FW and it does seem better, but I am still getting used to it. I don't have the BT yet. I may have to go back to the dealer for an install because my gw500 is behind my glovebox. Also the radio will have to come out. The mic cord will have to be long or extended in order to place it near the rear view mirror.

I did the upgrade Sunday right before drivingf 270 miles out and back to watkins Glen. The upgrade to the UI is substantial. It is much easier to navigate and the response time seems to have been cut by a factor of 2 or 4. This is a HUGE improvement and I am really happy with it.

I concur. I hope they can get the bt to work as well.
