That's gonna look tight.
With cleco's in place are you planning on riveting, SS screws or weld? I would suspect you might need to remove it if the tank should ever need replacing but probably not in your lifetime! Keep posting progress!

Its going to use the screws to hold it in place. If we ever needed to get to the tank it would be very easy to do. Also, Rad rides just put some new pictures on the site as of tonight 12-7. www.radrides.com

Theres a bunch of different shots of it on the ground. Check it out let me know what ya'll think.

Derek:

That build is insane. I really like what did with the hood piece going straight back into the cockpit to give it a "penetration" effect through the windshield. I thought it was rather odd to have a lone analog tach next to the high-tech LCD dash/pod unit but I guess it goes with the theme (something old, and something new). Have to give Troy's team a lot of respect for all the fabrication that was done and still to be done.

Looks like he has "some" plan for the underside of the trunk and I could see a lot of "small" things done to it in preparation but I got the sense he's still trying to figure that part out. I'm purely guessing but he wants to skin the underside so it covers all the bracing structure but that's about all I can think of; why it's taking so long, I'm not sure.

Its all about the details with these guys. You expect the whole picture because thats obvious. When you start to look closely at their cars thats when you really get impressed. One crazy thing is that when they install the dynamat and lay pieces over each other..they actually line up the lettering on it. You never see this but its one attention to detail that most people would never think about.
and some picts

I included one of the 07 ridler winner "first love"

Beautiful. It's hard to find any single aspect of that car to comment on as there is soooo much going on, but I'm struck by the exhaust treatment--really trick looking.

Yes that is one of my favorite parts of the car. I noticed you are in huntington beach, have you been to Foose's shop? Him and Troy are great friends.

They build some wild cars there. Im still baffled about how they are going to setup the throttle on the supercharger.

I always thought the throttle body had to be on the motor. You learn something everyday.
