Test driving a couple of AMs tomorrow
'08 DB9 (2,000 miles)
'07 Vantage (75 miles) Have to decide if the DB9 is worth the roughly $50K more. This would be a 2nd car, but hope to drive it a lot. Any thoughts? |

I personally like the looks of the Vantage over the DB9 but I haven't driven either of them.

DB9 is a tough sell compared to a Vantage that is heavily discounted. You can probably pick up an 07 for close to 110k. If you are OK with buying used, then a slightly older DB9 will bring it even closer to vantage territory.
Just need to decide if you want a sportier car or a cruiser with the V12 and backseats. |

You going to Miller in CT or the one here on LI?
Not enough depreciation year one on the DB9 and unless you are stealing it, I'd look for an 07 because you will take a big hit. I'm assuming since you are in the "used" market you are trying to be somewhat fiscally responsible, even if you have the $ to blow. Therefore, work the deal hard b/c no one is tripping over themselves to get these cars.

Been to both, but heading to LI today because of their '07 Vantage inventory.
To get a DB9 into the '07 Vantage $ range you have to go back to '05. They have a great '05 in CT, just don't love the color..."shadow" |
