new makes?
Does Aston Martin intend to release new cars in the near future? I don't have much updates with their current release. Can anyone provide me with some information? Thanks in advance.

Rapide - 4 door coupe based on DB9
DBS Roadster Vantage RSR - 12 cyl 600HP Rumors: New Vanquish 1-77 - million dollar+ 700 Hp super car Don't be surprised if you see if you see a Porsche-like escalation within the model ranges. Also, I've heard that there is thought being given to super charging and turbos in the future. |

i've been hearing some rumor about the One-77 but doubt AM will make this ''AM supercar'' At current time. economy just doesn't support it right now. the DBS is not doing great as predicted. i think AM should focus on the entry-level car at this point.

I agree w/ down turn in NA & EU sales but Middle East & Asian/Pac-Rim markets are very strong - especially on the high end side of life. I do not have a actual break down but it would be interesting to see the sales figures by make - year vs. year - with F/P/Mas/Lambo/AM cars in these markets. I do know many popular tuners have all put shops directly in these regions. I believe AM is looking for small quantity but profitable build cycles in a world market. I see Porsche (and Ferrari to some extent) has moved away from this type of boutique market strategy.

Michael's comments make sense, especially when you consider the new owners.
