Does anyone know the best way to get the color code for the interior door handle arms? I have a couple of minor chips from the seat-belt that I would like to fill in. The color is purple-ish in my otherwise black interior '06 Vantage (not sure why, !?!?!).
As a last resort, I'm sure I can have them arms repainted professionally but just hoping for an alternative suggestion.

I've also had a issue with my driver side door panels having a few chips, caused by the dealer once my car came back from a service !!! I inquired about touch up paint (nope they didn't have anything) but the dealer had their inhouse guys 'touch up' my the armrest. With the number of complaints they get on this issue, they fixed it so well, you can't tell.
For further protection, I know some owners had coated their armrest with 3m protective to prevent future chips.
Good luck!

I had my dealer order a touch-up paint kit for my car - no problem. Came from AM - 2 bottles, one of color and the other clear coat (like a BMW kit). Not cheap but the correct stuff.
We can color match it to your exterior paint, Hows your Vantage treating you havent seen you in al while

Great to hear from you, Tom. The Vantage is treating me very well. Would you be able to order a paint kit as mentioned by Michael above? Would I still need to make a trip to Tampa?

Cabrera did you ever get that door fixed, i just purchased my vantage and it has 1 chip. Were you able to get touch up paint from the dealer? To me it seems that the answers you got deviated to outside paint somehow.
Also does anybody know if the paint code for a yellow vantage, would it be the same as ferrari yellow?

I never followed up with the Orlando dealership to get it done. But, you've got me thinking about it again. I'm going to call the Tampa dealership tomorrow to see if they can do a paint kit to deal with it. I'll let you know what I find out.

Spoke with my guy in Orlando. He said he was not aware of a touch-up paint kit for the interior but he is going to reach out to the UK to get a solid answer. Also, he does have a local guy that has done several arm-handle repaints and chip fixes for him. There is a process for getting the color correct and does require that both arms get painted to prevent even a slight mismatch. He said the process requires keeping the car for 1-2 days and costs around $250.
He mentioned that some customers are now getting the arm-handles coated with a plastic (like the clear-bra material) to prevent further chips.
I'll post another update as soon as I hear from him about the paint kit from the UK.

Yeah, I read somewhere that people are using 3M protective film, kinda like protecting the screen on your phone etc. Might look tacky if not done right, and if shiny.
You know what is probably one of the better solutions, specially if you have piano black in the center, just paint those door pulls piano black as well with the clear coat sealant.
