Clear looks cheesy, IMO.

It is for a set of clear plastic lenses that look like they belong on a Toyota or Nissan!

I think they're made out of sapphire crystal. Yes, I assume it's the entire assembly. The $2k figure is what I'm guessing the total cost would be for the tail lights (all three) and the side marker lights, front and back. RSC's tail light set goes for $1,695, and I thought I read the AM version goes for around $1,800.

Update:

The OEM clear tail lights are now available for the '06 and '07 Vantage. Apparently, the delay was due to the need for a software download that controls activation of the lights. I was quoted $1,571 for the set, which is less than the $1,800 I had previously heard.

Thanks. I've got an '07 so I'm not sure these will work, but it's worth checking into.

Don't know about the inserts, but I did hear from SVAG. Apparently, the software download isn't necessary for the tail lights to function, but the software is necessary for the dash warnings when bulbs burn out.
