It would be nice to find out if the rear end was sourced from a Ford or Jaguar part. You can buy Ford racing ring & pinion sets from Ford Racing for under $200.

I doubt AM wants to share all the secrets with us, or the aftermarket, though. Someone will have to tear one apart.
Quaife offers a unit for the DB9. Is the differential in the Vantage that much different? Quaife is probably the best in the business. Terribly expensive, but undoubtably first class. -- You'd still see zero increase in performance on the street, but you'd have a fancy, nearly bullet-proof LS gear set.
