DB9 V12 oil starvation, real problem or not?

Chaps,
Dusting off this topic...
As mentioned in my opening post from about 2 weeks ago, I'm currently in the UK searching for my DB9. Had viewed 3 cars today with 2 cars from 2005 and the other from 2004.
The 2004 car is a September 1st registered car with Serial A00276, just within the problem range of serials [as per infor in post #19 = The dipstick VIN with the old version is A00001 to A10286, after that range your fine (new dipstick part# 4G4E-6750-AC, look on your dipstick and this number should match, if not visit your dealership and ask if FSA 165V2 has been performed)]
Furthermore, this car has the dipstick with part-number part# 4G4E-6750-AB (with B instead of C). Is this the previous, longer/faulty dipstick?
Car has 50,000 miles on it and drives like a charm. Has had its regular service at AM as well and the latest invoices show 13.5L engine-oil charged which indicate proper fill-up. Let me know if I should be careful with this one.
Keen to hear from you experts.

DB9 Oil level warning
Hi, I have a really strange problem. I am receiving a message saying the oil level is low on my 2005 DB9 Volante! Nothing odd with that you might think! But there was no oil level sensor (other than the dipstick) on 2005 cars. My car's done less than 18k and serviced every year. My specialist said, 'probably the sensor' so a replacement was ordered but when he looked under the sump guess what: there's no sensor! Checked with factory and no sensor fitted on early models, so this doesn't make any sense (sic).
Anyone come across a solution? Thoughts most welcome.

Some of the early cars had issues with software, an update resolved the concern. Also, I believe the early cars without the level sensor(pre-08MY) would monitor oil pressure to detect low engine oil. I could be wrong but I would definingly verify software calibration is up to date ( FYI: there's no adjustable option in AMDS to add/remove the level sensor)..and I would have the oil pressure verified. I have seen faulty oil pressure sensor/switch(wtv term you want to use), clogged head passages, melted harnesses, cracked connectors from tilting engine, blocked/collapsed oil filters (usually due to lack of replacing and not changing out on oil changes)..
