Greasy Under Body and Oiled up Air filters
Took off my throttle body duct and notice engine oil in it so I did more investigating and found this mess.
Please let me know what you guys think and where i should start tracing for a possible leak.

After further investigating. I notice that the clamp on the transmission fluid hoses are not 100% snug. You can actually see in the 3rd picture from my first post that there is a gap where the stainless hose meets the rubber hose. I read this was a common problem with early model db9s. Anyone heard or have had the lines replace? My question now is if the transmission fluid cooling lines have enough pressure to spray everywhere or if i have another leak elsewhere

Oil on the belly pan is probably a seeping front cover...that's what it kinda' looks like to me. Not uncommon on earlier V12s (and lots of V8s). Even find this on some later motors. If that's what it is, just live with it.
It is unrelated to oil in the filters.

That oil in the air filter tubes if from the PCV system venting, when the engine is off, the oil film that did not get sucked in dripps down stream and collects at th ebottom of the air filter..all V12's on VH platform have this issue..normal
The oil on the sump pan and surrounding area is engine oil..it is not transmission fluid. Yes those trans cooler lines do leak like you mentioned, but they do not spray everywhere, there not under high pressure like you think..tighen the hose clamps and call it a day. If they do not tighen, get some new clamps and before fitting the hoses back on dry the fittings and apply film of silicone, this will help the hose from backing off with the new clamp..let things dry for 24 hrs before starting the car, line leak won't be any further concern providing the hose has no holes or cracks..
The engine oil leak...either timing cover is leaking or you have a very early VIN and the water pump + power steering pump bolts that go through the timing cover have no high pressure sealant..when there is no sealant the bolts leak oil down the threads..this will cause a oil leak on the drivers side of the motor. If you have both sides soaked of oil, timing cover will need to be re-sealed(so removed and have new seals installed)

1) It's minor seepage at this point, and
2) It'll cost you a small fortune to fix it since the motor has to be dropped out from underneath.

Either replace the timing cover seals...or....a can of brake cleaner can solve a lot of leaks that bother your mind, just they return LOL ..but your mind thinks the car is clean for a while!

Hi Irish
I have air filters looking similar to above pictures. Has bit of oil in it. It's normal ? Or is it usual? Can it cause any problems?
Should I install catch can for AOS?
If yes can you point me to a kit?
Thanks
