Fabspeed Motorsport | It is time to wake up the Vantage V8
Summer is here and it is time to wake up your Vantage V8! Replace your restrictive factory exhaust system with a newly designed Sport Cat X-Pipe Exhaust System. Includes 200-cell HJS German-imported catalytic converters and a free flowing X-pipe to significantly increase power and enhance the exhaust note.
Adds +39 horsepower and +41 ft/lbs of torque at 5000 RPM!!!

It adds a marginal power gain (about 4-5 whp, if I recall) and a very slight increase in exhaust volume. We do not offer the x-pipe as a separate product, though. The Sport Cats are the real kickers. They add a ridiculous amount of power to these cars, and they totally transform the exhaust note.
It's intoxicating!

Yeah, but i don't care for the snap, crackle, pop sound of free-flowing exhausts. It's one of the things that turns me off with the Jag F-type. Mostly was curious about the effects on exhaust sound. Don't really care if my car gets any more power than it already has.

The sounds it produces it really really nice but nothing to aggressive. You can always have more power!! It is really noticeable and will make your driving experience on and off the track more enjoyable.

There is always a benefit to getting rid of the restrictive factory cats and upgrading to high flow. The problem now becomes getting to them, the primary cats on the DBS are in the header and there is actually 4 of them. We currently do not offer any products for the DBS and I do not think there is much on the market for header replacement. What would be a good idea and what I recommend is bypassing your secondary catalytic converters to free up some power and some good sound! Our sport cats for the Vantage actually replaced the primary AND secondary cats. As you can see in the stock comparison photo below the first catalytic converter is between the o2 sensor bungs and the secondary is directly after. When replacing 4 very restrictive cats with 2 HJS 200-cell cats you free up tons of power and sound.

Awesome work as usual from Fabspeed - The AMV8s we've done sound great when rolling into the shop, but absolutely break necks as they leave equipped with new found hardware!!!
Also we install all our parts in house - and we are also located in Southern California should any local member need any exhaust components shipped here we can get them all without any issues
