Porterfield R4-S pads

A few months ago I purchased a full set of R4-S pads for my new 2014 V8V.
My shop installed them earlier today and they fit perfectly. No sqeaking yet.
They did comment that the stock pads produced enormous amounts of dust-car has only 220 miles.
FYI, I purchased them fron Stuart/VelocityAP

Are the wear sensor slots sided now left and right?

I was in a rush and didn't have time to ask that question.
If there was a problem they would have called me.

They are night & day when it comes to dust. Glad to hear you're so pleased with them. Sometimes it's the little things

All the sensors line up except the driver's front. This one is at the top of the pad which leaves a lot of extra wire.

I hope they can address this at some point, even as a minor detail

Not to be contrarian but I do not like those pads. Have raced SCCA and other orgs for 12 years, and bought one set for a Lotus Exige I had in 2006ish time frame. I think they lasted 5,000 miles. On a light car. Not much better stopping power than stock and terrible wear. I think I had two track days on them but still.

Vantage guys as a group should talk to Carbotech here in teh US about making pads for the V8 and V12 cars. Great guys to work with and they wil make anything for any backing plate.

I chose Porterfield because of their low brake dust production.
Performance and longevity are of little concern to me.
Do Carbotech pads produce much brake dust?
So far the Porterfields are silent and braking feels smooth and secure.
Brake dust...too early to say.
Thanks
