All 100 V12 Vantage S manuals sold?

All 100 V12 Vantage S manuals sold?
I called my local dealer (FCI in Greensboro NC) to schedule my yearly service and off hand asked about the new manual car.
- told only 100 coming to the US
- each dealer gets one at first, and then once sold, they get another allocation until all gone
- all 100 are claimed.
Wow. That fast.
So what is it, 100 V12s manuals in the US and maybe 300 or so V12 manuals?

From what I have read Aston made 1,200 of the 2010-2012 V12 Vantage worldwide (2010 model was not available in the USA). I have not been able to find a breakdown of where those 1,200 car ended up but I think it is fair to assume ~300-350 made it to the USA.
From what I was sold the new 7-speed V12 Vantage S basically sold out before Aston even officially announced they were making it in a manual. I am sure your dealer would know better but someone told me originally they were only making 100 worldwide.
Don't quote me on those numbers but that is what I have read in the past.

There was a thread on here a few years ago that had well documented numbers on the number of V12 manuals based on the pedal recall and numbers coming from one of the auto safety government agencies. I seem to recall the number of 2011-2012 V12 manuals that made it to North America was closer to 200.

No, as I read the AM literature, it's unlimited production of the V12s manual for the rest of the world, but only 100 for the US.
I too seem to recall 300-350 being the number of the 2011-12 V12 Vantages that came to the US. So maybe another hundred now.

I saw it there on Thursday, it has a manufacturer license plate on the back. From my understanding that is a factory car that goes out to press event's.

Technically they are all sold or accounted for. But weather certain buyers back out and Aston Martin dealerships have a few sitting around remains to be seen. I think it's a great collectors item if you can get your hands on one

Nope, I am not looking for one. I just picked up the 2011 V12 Vantage and am positively delighted with it. I don't see enough benefit in the 2016 to make up that $80-90k difference in price personally and prefer the grille styling of the 2010-2012 model year to the new ones.
Thanks everyone for the info. I had tried to find how many made it to the US back when I was car shopping and could not find that info anywhere.

I can still get you one, if you're interested.

I see a lot of dealers have manuals available with delivery miles. Did original buyers not like the dogleg. Are we going to see a large drop in price to move these. I owned a 2012 V12 and was looking to jump back in with the manual v12vs but was nervous about the cars sitting at dealers Anyone with good inside info?
