Never were. The only RS6 available in the US was the C5 body style. 2003 model year and used, of course. Audi didn't bring the C6 RS6 to the US, although I do know of at least 1 that made it here.

Best overall car I've ever owned. Except for the DRC problems.

I would get rid of my GT-R in two seconds for one of those.

Damn it Audi... would it really kill you to offer us the twin turbo V10? I'd take it in a heartbeat.

Estimated price of the C6 RS6 in the US would have been in the $150K range. Too expensive to bring, we assume. And, Audi had issues with the C5 RS6 DRC. So, maybe they decided to skip a generation. That's speculation. However, if Audi is going to compete against the likes of MB's AMG line and BMW's M-models, they need to bring their best equipment. The S-models are good, but not anywhere close. Foolish to invest so much into brand development and then abandon it, IMHO. RS6 and RS4 owners may find themselves disappointed when their current cars get retired.

anyone have experience with MTM or ABT? We have both companies over here and I am debating whether to do the ABT 700 HP tuneup or the MTM 730 HP. ABT is owned by audi in abu dhabi and they will cover the warranty. MTM I havent dealt with but was wondering if people had good experiences. These 2 vids make it hard for me to choose.

wow, what a beast! with a 30 hp difference, i would go with the ABT just for the warranty's sake. but i don't have any experience with either one.

Overall I am very happy with the car and the interior and instrument panel is very high quality.

I just got the ABT tune for my RS6 bumping it to 700 hp and 590 Lbs/ft torque. The car after 60 mph is just plain silly. Going from 120 Km/h to 220 km/h goes by in a breeze. Truly the best and most fun sedan out there
