Curio im wont wont say one is better than the other but being an R8 owner and only having mtm blower available for 45k pes were the only guys with the balls to take this project head on and make it work . i have been waiting for vf blower 4 months before i even meet the pes guys and they made a kit which is works in 4 months.. again price is up to the owenr but in this market they are the only one's with a working blower for an R8 for alot less than the alternative mtm for 45k . i talk to VF when they anounced their kit early in the year and its july and still nothing so untill then this is everyones R8 power soultion or unless you go TT and spend alot more .. to each their own ... for me and 5 other guys i know pes works !
Like I said, great product, poor price, glad to have more options brewing for the R8.
Lame that some people can't take constructive criticism. The V10 is a pretty good power solution as well.

Ben, I was so sad to see your car leave. I think Tony and I cried a bit when they loaded it on the transport truck. You better video yourself on the madden voyage, cant wait to see the heads turn.
MTM's US price was $57,900 for a long time before recently dropping it. I have not read anyone claiming to have purchased one, anywhere in the world. It's obviously not an easy car to tune. But as pricey as the performance stuff might be for the R8, you should take a look at the body kit pricing. I was interested in VF's supercharger development as well and waited a few months for them. Even though I was on Nik's email distribution, I never heard anything about what was going on or how it was progressing. PES is delivering the product now, and I'm privileged to be one of the first to get it. If VF puts out a great supercharger, that's great. I look forward to seeing it and driving on the track with some of the guys in Cali that will eventually have them. We're a community of enthusiasts out here, not enemies, right?
People need to also recognize that the VF option should be in the $10,000-12,000 range for the S4 4.2, and their RS4 4.2 FSI kit looks like it will be approaching $20,000. With that being said they're being very tight lipped about a timeline or costs.
Very nice work PES!!
+103whp is an awesome gain over a standard car.
Question, is the price $25k installed? Or is this just for the kit?
Thanks so much.
$25K is the kit price. Installation takes approx 40hrs.
By weeks end we will have 3 completed R8's on the road. One starts the cross country Bull Run on Sat and one will be driven from PA to WA by Gigharbor1. Very exciting stuff for us and our customers. I know that Ben is driving around Miami with his car right now looking for "victims".
kit looks great!!!!
any quarter or 60-130 times yet?
25k is a lot, but like it's been mentioned, the only game in town, and customers who took the plunge seem to be very satisfied...so money well spent
