I was responding to AJag. I don't have a dyno chart. Having owned a lot of exotics, I don't know if it should be even a factor if you are looking at both cars though.

I have actually driven a lp-560, it is very similar. One is more visceral (Lambo) while one is more drivable (audi). I would say it would depend on what you planned on doing with the car. If you plan on driving it on the rare weekend or only on Saturday's or something, you might want to steer towards the Lambo as it is a beast and lets you know it. The control is far twitchier and the car itself is loud and slightly obnoxious (ok maybe a tad more than slightly). But it's still a very nice design and there are cool gadgets like the nose will lift by a few inches so you can get in the gas station driveway without scraping. THere's also annoying things about the lambo, for example, you sit there at say 4k rpm it will sporadically open up the flaps and go BRAAAUGGHHH, for no reason whatsoever. This is a bit annoying to be honest but at least it's a beautiful sound. The Audi doesn't sound better but is much more of a car you do anything with. Go to the Grocery? Go right ahead. It's also not horrifically loud. That being said, it's plenty loud and the v10 is a very different car then the V8 which could literally be a daily driver. The V10 has the acceleration of the 430 but not the crankiness of the rear wheel car. In other words, it's a bit more muscly without getting out of control. Oh, I don't drive Porsche's by the way, just never been a fan.
i wish i can say that and drive ferrari/R8. Is it the performance or aesthetic reason that you don't like about Porsche? just wondering.
Uh sorry, I don't want to piss off the Porsche fans. I know they make great cars and they are all over the tracks and 50 years of making the same car means they are damn near perfect now. They just aren't for me. I don't like the interior or how they chintz you for every little thing (oh you want windows made of glass? that's an option). I also don't like the fact that a current one looks pretty much the same as the one say 30 years ago. I guess I'm just not pleased with the shape is the biggest reason. And I like German cars. I have an M6 and the R8 and have had 2 Benz's. Then again, I've also had three Lexi, 1 Infiniti, 1 Nissan (GTR), 3 Mazdas, and even a Jeep and Ford in the last 13 years. I think I'm going to pick up a Lexus GS to drive around daily next.

Very nice car. If you are ever on a drive up the coast to Mendocino, or on 101 to Willits, and you are the kind of owner who enjoys sharing, please pm me before you are coming. I would love to see your car and maybe go for a ride. thanks, John

Oooh, I've actually never driven the 512. Would be a good trade for a few hours and a drive. I'll let you know!

Well, I would trade the Z8 for a drive. Mine is very nicely modded and a wonderful car but the 512 is a 12cyl twin turbo making almost 900 hp and just not a car I can share for a drive. Hope you understand, not trying to tighten up on you, just being honest. I would be happy with a quick ride in your car should you ever get up here and can turn you on to some awesome roads. Also, my 996tt is modded and set up for the roads here, with great power and handling.
