Hi! I just bought a '08 430 Scuderia. How much would it costs to install the diamond fusion film for the windshield? How long would the installation take?

The C63, although not the toughest on the market to wrap, is not an easy full hood wrap. However, there is enough surface area on the edges of the hood, bumper, and fenders for it be wrapped. Do keep in mind that Xpel offers to the installer precut templates and that goes the same for their training. There is no custom application available through their program. It quite possibly would be the best type of application you can get in your area. Our recommendation is to look at the hood with a precut template and see if it is acceptable for you. Good luck.

Spoke with an independent installer who does quality work in this area. He apparently uses Xpel plotter cut design for C63 (full hood coverage, bumper, fenders). He stated that he did not do wrap around the edges due to the thinness of modern day hoods and the curvature around the edge to underside was too severe. He generally leaves 1/16 inch gap from the edge. I plan to have clear bra installed on black C63. I am concerned about the visibility of the film especially on the hood. I am OK with bumper having the gap but I think it will be annoying to see the edge on the hood! Is what the installer telling me something that is borne out of his training with 3M and Xpel (3M/Xpel certified installers with about 18 years of experience)? The installer comes with good reputation and price. I would appreciate some comment on this gap issue as well as problems with wrap around
