My advice is to call a few different dealers. I called three different dealers. Circle Porsche in Long Beach gave me the best price of $3,195 ($250 deductible) for the 6 years, 72,000 miles Platinum plan. Everything was done through FedEx.

A couple of the other dealers (I can't remember the names) wanted to inspect my car for a fee, too. Circle didn't even mention that.

I recommend that you get an extended warranty before your current warranty expires. If you tell them your car is still under warranty you might get a better deal. Negotiate hard for the best price.
