Glad you found my DIY helpful. I’ve never had a low voltage warning when using this PSU with my PIWIS. I suspect if will work fine for whatever application you throw at it.

The PSU will put out about 14.6V if the DIY is followed. Once you connect the PIWIS to the car, the voltmeter in the cluster will show about 14.1V. Maybe your soldering was off (it’s tiny in there)?
