on a side note how is the DCT with that stroker engine? any hiccups or differences you've noticed?
No, no problems at all. The only difference is how much more exciting it is to shift gears at full throttle than a stock one. It does it SO fast. I have never experienced any issues with the DCT, before or after the stroker engine. The car is a blast to drive, specially with the top down. The sound of this engine with the exhaust set up it has is intoxicating.
There is a member of the M3Post, JEMarsal, that met with me to check out the car in person a while back; with him as a passanger in my car and his friend driving his stock E90 M3, my car put a little over 4 car lenghts in a 15mph-about 80mph pull. Keep in mind that my car is supposed to be 400lbs heavier than his since it is a vert. And I had a passanger, the other car didn't.
I love this car, hence, all the work, time, effort and money that went into it. It will be missed. I just dont keep cars often...
Preferences change with time and new cars always come out...
With all that said, to me, this is the perfect everyday street car. 520+ HP Convertible with warranty for years. I just now want more of a perfect track car, instead of a perfect street car
Did you sell the body kit or why isnt it included?
Yes, the full bodykit was sold, along with the BBK, Gruppe M carbon intake, and a couple of other things the car had before.
The car is being sold as shown in the pics with the new 19x9 & 19x11 Dymags, The RD Sport RS46 stroker conversion, RD Sport headers, and RD Sport 100 cell Full exhaust, which all has warranty. Warranty engine through RD Sport 2 year/50,000 mile(40,000 miles left). BMW warranty 4 year/50,000 miles for everything else.
I can not beleive anybody would do a car like this to this extreme and just sell it so fast . I am guessing they needed a donor car to do the R&D on . Looks amazing curious what the next car will be ?
probably a R35 putting out 1000hp good luck with the sale
when i need to change cars i will look for one that somone else built and took the hit on
