FS - FVD Aluminum Intake Plenumn

I am upgrading my Stage IVGT/R kit to the GT700 kit. The 700 kit comes with its own intake plenumn and modified Y-Pipe. I need to sell my FVD unit. I found that it added a solid 0.1 - 0.2 bar of boost. By replacing the restrictive OEM unit, more horse poser is achieved. FVD claims 25 hp on a stock motor. This unit is an easy install relative to the carbon fiber piece and is the only option for you tip guys.

Retail = $1995.00
My price to you delivered in NA = $1500.00

Features:
-Reduced head due to the aluminum compared to the stock casting
-Reduced weight due to light weight aluminum and reenforced hose
-Increased airflow due to larger equal diameter hose
-Works with tiptronic transmissions
-Made in Germany (Durable)
-Lowest price on the market

Gains:
-Improved throttle response
-Quicker turbo spooling
-Boost sustained longer due to decreased heatsoak
-Increased horsepower

Does the 750 kit use the same turbos as the 640 kit?

Here's what's going in (along with the aluminum intake, fuel pump and modified Y pipe to fit the bigger throttle body shown).

I guess I got the 700+ kit which includes modified Y-Pipe and 996 throttle body.

You guys are forcing me to go the EBAY route. Tippy guys, this is your only choice for greater air flow. It's Sharky certified.

would it work well with giac stage2?

it would increase the boost level from 1.2?

can you feel the power difference instantly?

TIA,

TIA,
There will definately be more air getting to the turbos. I believe Evan (FVD) said when it was first introduced that with the stock ducting/plenumn, the right turbo puts out .12 bar less boost than the left due to the restrictions with the ducting on that side. I did notice a difference on my GT640 set up. I'm assuming the difference will be somewhat less noticeable on your stage 2. I picked up a solid 0.1 bar and reguliarily 0.2 bar when installed in conjunction with the EVO V-Flow Intake. The Garrett Hybrids move more air than your K16's but should be noticable, especially if a EVO V-Flow is also incorporated.

IMO upgrading your intake with the V-Flow and keeping the very restrictive OEM intake plenumn makes no sense. If your objective is to increase air flow to the turbos, get the job done correctly. Your turbos will get a ton of cool air when combining the V-Flow with the FVD Aluminum intake plenumn. The 2 parts work together very well.

You may pick up 0.1 bar. One thing for sure is that you will get to 1.2 bar significantly faster as turbo spool will be noticibly improved.

Mike

This set up improves upon any mod's you make, due to the ability to flow more air. It is also indestructible, almost impossible to puncture, or tear. Ask me how I know this.... Jay@FVD
