FS: 2001 Porsche 996TT w great mods
Year: 2001
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $39996
Mileage: 76900
Color: Seal Grey
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual

Accident free car with a clean CA title.
PPI just done at McKenna Porsche (Dec 30, 2014).
Recently passed SMOG with flying colors (Summer 2014).
I have owned it for more than 4 years.
Carfax showed regular dealer service entries when I bought it and brake fluid, clutch fluid and brake rotors looked next to new when I bought the car so the prior owner(s) didn't seem to have skipped out on the maintenance.
I've done annual oil/filter changes (incl drain of dry sump and turbo drain tanks) at Porsche race shops.
Upgrades:
+ K16 turbos with 1 bar actuators
+ X50 intercoolers
+ Custom 1.1 bar tune - appr 490 rwhp
+ Forge diverter valves
+ Bosch Motorsport 5 bar fuel pressure regulator
+ Custom, safe tune by OE Tuning, appr 485 WHP (no aggressive timing)
+ New OEM ignition coil packs
+ New 1 step colder spark plugs
+ H&R springs on OEM sport shocks
+ GT2 front lower control arms
+ GT3 rear toe links
+ Eibach Racing adjustable swaybars (these are the ones that GMG paint blue and sell as GMG bars)
+ RWD converted
+ GT2 clutch slave cylinder conversion
+ 43k mile OEM 996TT transmission installed at 70000 miles (original transmission had been fully built with other gearing for track and I traded it away for the 43k OEM transmission to use the car on the street)
+ No 2nd gear popout, and I added the 2nd gear popout detent to the new gearbox for extra security as I had easy access to do it.
+ New Carbonetic carbon smooth differential 100% noise free installed at 70000 miles
+ New OEM clutch disc and flywheel installed at 70000 miles
+ New Sachs heavy duty pressure plate installed at 70000 miles
+ Brand new 997 shifter mod installed at 72000 miles
+ Brand new clutch release bearing installed at 75000 miles
+ 9x19 and 12x19 flowformed Forgestar lightweight wheels
+ Hankook Ventus RS3 in GT3 sizing (235/35/19 and 305/30/19).
+ JVC Navi touchscreen double din headunit with Porsche-logo piano black faceplate, MP3, CD/DVD,
+ JVC has integrated Bluetooth for handsfree cellphone use, SD card slot, front USB and Aux inputs, input on back for reversing camera.
+ New black carpets with Porsche logos were installed at 75500 miles.
Optional (+ $500): Used Recaro driver seat with STATUS slider mount for 996TT
- Scraped front lip
- Left plastic rocker panel has some cracks at the back
- Fender rolling was done poorly, should get touched up to be happy
- Interior has scratches on center console
I modded it heavily for road course track days, ended up only tracking it once and recorded a 1.23 at Streets of Willow but then I had to focus my track efforts on running an actual racecar so I took off the aero kit, rollcage and raceseat and used this Porsche to commute and I do a few canyon days and weekend cruises with the wifey.
Mechanical condition: 9.9/10.
Cosmetic interior: 7/10
Cosmetic exterior: 7/10

Thank you. Canon 60D with a f2.8 lens mainly good for HD filming, in other words nothing too crazy.

Do you have any more interior shots? Maybe I missed it, but approx how much power is she putting down? Can you send a closeup shot of the fenders you said have an issue from pulling them? From the ones I see it looks clean as hell to me. Very interested.

1.1 bar with K16 and GT2 intercoolers and enough fuel flow up top thanks for the 5 bar FBR usually hits the mark around 475-505rwhp. This is not a "dangerous" leaned out map so not taking it all out.
Being 2WD gives a little less drivetrain losses.
I'll take pics of the fender roll stuff. It's not the fenders itself as you see, it's more where they rolled it in the wheel well where it meets the plastic wheel liners. Not all corners were done poorly and I might get it taken care of in the next few weeks.

So the motor/tranny was pulled 3X in the last 4,500 miles, once for the clutch & flywheel, then again for the PP and 500 miles later for a tranny?
4500 miles on OEM clutch disc and flywheel
+ 2000 miles on brand new Sachs heavy duty pressure plate
+ 1500 miles on on original 996TT transmission (installed from a 43k mile car)
