Hey guys,
So being that i am part of many online communities a great friend of mine has asked me to take care of selling his i8 for him.
I'm part of many online car forums and know the products inside out.
So i was actually the one who found him the car a few months ago through a dealer in NY state and he managed to get the first allocation that dealer got.
Car was picked up on Friday in NY and is on a transport truck en route to Miami Florida where he lives.
Car is ready to go right away with title in hand. It has 15 miles on the odometer and is brand spanking new.
Colour is Sophisto Grey on Carum Spice Grey full leather.
Obviously anyone looking at this knows all about the car and the fact that a Pure Impulse World comes with every option in the book.
Again i'm listing this for one of my best friends who lives in Miami and the asking price reflects current market pricing and ultimately what he wants to get for the car.
He initially was buying the car for personal use but decided that he much prefers a Mercedes S Class Coupe. Obviously not the same car and i bug him about it everyday but hey,to each their own.
Car is also listed on eBay by his business partner in Miami but i will now be in charge of helping move his i8.
VIN : WBY2Z2C55EVX64534
Asking price is 200k.
Car is ready to go today and is brand new and will not be driven.
PRICE DROP. 190k takes it home

They really were.
The car just wasn't what he expected it to be.
Plus he's a big Benz guy. He currently also has a 2014 S Class.

He wouldn't even know where to start.
As for the asking price, it's his car and he can ask whatever price he wants.
If someone is interested i'll gladly put them in touch with him and they can go from there.

I think MSRP before taxes and all is about 148K-149K.
He paid a little over MSRP and with Florida taxes and all, the car cost him just about 165k.

Haven't seen one on the roads yet but it definitely looks like it's got great presence

Who spends $165k on a car and then realizes, within 15 miles, that it just really isn't what he expected? I don't begrudge the guy flipping it to make some coin (although I think it's ridiculous that anyone would pay $50k over MSRP for a titled car), I just wish people would be honest about it and say so. Can't stand dealers who do this, no difference really when owners do it.

it says so. right where it says "asking price is 200k"
You wanna talk about honesty... How many times have you seen someone on this board initially list their used vehicle for 80k and eventually drop the price to 65k to get it sold... What would make them any different? A potential profit is a potential profit. At least asking 200k over a sub 170k value shows the intentions of the sale right there in your face.
Anyways, GLWS! I hope it goes quick. I'm interested to see how these fare on the streets over time.
