Looking for 996 Turbo w/ sunroof delete

Good luck with your search...your looking for a spec TT as majority of the TT are preorder via the dealer network.

IF you are absolutely determined to have a non-sunroof 996tt, you may be better off finding the exact car you want (miles, color, options, etc.) and then converting it to a non-sunroof like powdrhound did...

I would just find the one you like and replace the panel. I did it myself and it really wasn't hard at all. Just time consuming. I had a window guy pull the front and rear windows and drilled out all the spot welds myself. Took it to a body ship and they charged a few hundred to install new panel. Overall I think I spent around $600 including panel and a few hours of my time. Well worth it!
If you need any tips just pm me.

No better than yours! Just a different route
OP, why are you looking for a sunroof delete car?
Cheers,

Love mine 2003 seal grey 6MT sunroof delete w/ color matched sport techno wheels, full carbon, and sport seats with heat and red stitching. Just broke 30k miles last month. Pretty much stock. Added tint over the summer.

if looking for a sunroof delete car might as well look for one in white same time lol. all kidding aside, if it matters find a car and delete it at a body shop per above. sounds simple enough if not a bit labor intensive. i'm sure its worth the effort though.

I'm having a tough time finding a '02-'03 6-speed with seal grey & black on the west coast with a sunroof, let alone without one!
I'm just curious, is there any benefit to no sunroof other than the obvious lack of moving parts/electronics (like add'l interior clearance when wearing a helmet?)

I have, but lots more money right now. Around double the price right?
