2002 Carrara White GT2
Year: 2002
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $98500
Mileage: 49750
Color: White
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA

I've been considering switching to a more practical track car. Consider this my pretty serious but not 100% sale ad.
Car is in fantastic shape! Paint is swirl free and well protected under full body 3M. Only sizeable knicks are very low on drivers side door. Rock chip of some kind prior to my ownership. (under clearbra)
Nothing on the car is permanent -- I have all the OEM parts. It's not a 5,000 mile GT2 like all the investors are hunting for right now. But it is *white*. Yes, a Carrara White GT2 I don't believe there are any stock white GT2s left at this point, so let that thought go, and somewhere in the 5-7 range in USA to begin with. Even less still with us. Yes, I'm factoring that into the price a bit.
Reason for selling? Too rare to continue as a track car. No, I'm not buying a GT4, don't worry.
Specifics:
Located in SF Bay Area (Marin County)
Price: $98,500
Miles 49,750
Fluids:
Diff / Trans / Engine Oil all changed every 4-5 track days
Suspension:
Tarrett Rear Toe Kit
Tarrett Rear Castor Adj bushings
Tarrett Rear LCA Monoballs
Tarrett Rear Shock Mounts + Spring Adapters
Tarrett Front Extended Drop links + Collar Brackets
Tarrett Rear Drop links + Collar Brackets
Bilstein revalved GT3 units 700/900 springs Hypercoil + 0# helpers
(Still have all OEM parts, yes 2nd set of shocks)
Brakes:
Stock PCCBs -- great condition
PFC track rotors / pads -- separate unless you want them too
997 GT3 Master Cylinder (still have OEM)
Wheels:
Stock GT2 Twists -some scratches
(OZ Allegeritas w/ Nitto NT01 for track days)
Engine:
911 Tuning 1.0 Bar tune (hand held loader -- can flip from stock, to low boost, to 1.0 bar in about 5 min -- big fan)
911 Tuning X-flow custom exhaust (absolutely minimal drone, but still nice at full throttle)
Stock Exhaust
N710 Diverter Valves
Stock rev limiter (so there's no overevs)
Exterior:
3M Clear Bra full body except decklid under spoiler
Joe Toth 2 piece splitter & Dive Planes
Rennline Front Radiator Grill Screen
Paintwork: Previous owner had the licenese plate holes filled. Rear quarter panel under rubber trim has a small paint line. All original body panels / no funky paint meter readings either.
Interior:
996 GT3 Cup Steering Wheel
Piper Motorsports Welded 4pt Rollcage (these guys used to build TransAm racecars, it's really amazing quality -- I didn't trust a bolt in unit in case of a rollover)
Recaro Profi SPG XL Seats
6pt Profi Harnesses
Swapped a mint Black GT2 carpet into car when cage was installed rather than the original carpet (still have both)
OEM Sport Seats Black Leather
Extra set of interior door panels (black carpet and grey carpet)
Gearbox:
GTGears Rebuilt LSD (actually works unlike OEM )
I'm sure I've forgotten some stuff -- just let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for looking!

hey dhalen! Yep -- the yellow one you picked up was great too though
re: cage removal. Can definitely be done, I made sure there was no cutting or any of that to do the install. Was all done by Piper Motorsports in VA, top fabricators. I had them save the OEM carpet and use the extra black GT2 set I picked up to not cut any of the original rugs for cage bars.
Couple common questions from the interested parties:
Tires: Brand new NT01s (3 HCs)
Brakes: are PFC08s/01s -- fine on street but mildly squeaky when cold.
Shipping: I have an enclosed trailer and can help figure out transport for folks within a reasonable distance.
Extra parts: The seats & PCCBs are actually stored in my Dad's garage in VA (I will have them shipped before you take delivery)
Serious buyers can go for a ride with me -- no joyrides

Thanks for kind words guys :-)
It's a small market for a .6 GT2 regardless, but I've had a few rather strong offers already. If I didn't know how rare white is/will be I would have already sold.
Worst case of hanging on to it is still a pretty good outcome for me ;-) so I guess I'm not a terribly motivated seller...

Car will be trading hands in a few days, going to a great new home.
Best part of the experience was someone leaving me this negative Rep point:
"05-07-2015 11:23 PM 90k you must be out of your damn mind fool"
Joke's on him
