This is painful to even post this for sale, but life events (want an RX7) neccesitate. I am the third owner of this BEAUTIFULLY DONE 2005 Aspen White Forester XT with full STI swap. Full parts details to follow! This car was purchased from astro99 here on the forums last year from AL. He had purchased the XT from BIG67 who bought the car new and created a truly special car. I bought the car sight unseen and went to pick it up without a worry. And guess what? I could not have made a better decision! I have enjoyed every minute of this car as it has been my primary daily driver since purchase. Life changes things of course, and I need to let this go on to another to enjoy. I have always wanted to have a nice V8 FD3S and that is the only trade I will be interested in.

Priced at $19,500. Clean title located in Knoxville,TN.

The GOOD: This car NEEDS NOTHING. There are no engine codes, warning lights, etc. Oil change (Millers Race Oil) and full transmission fluid change (factory Subaru 75W-90) performed within the last 2000 miles. It's fast, handles like an absolute dream, and doesn't beat you up if you are just making a grocery store run or picking up the kids from school. This was my daily driver. No track days, dragstrips, but I autocrossed it about 5 times and made a couple dragon runs. It was basically an overbuilt sleeper for my needs! If I wasn't ready to buy a RX7 I wouldn't be selling. This car is incredible the boost comes on faster than a VF43 and makes torque like you wouldn't believe. Every time someone rides with me they are blown away.

The BAD: I'm picky, and I do wish the body was in a little better shape. It has a number of small dings around the body. The worst section is the area of the right rear bumper, but the car has NEVER been in an accident. Hey, I think it actually looks great for a Subaru body with 100k+ miles, but I want you to know the body is not a 9 or 10/10 by any stretch. The windshield is also original but can be replaced for an additional $250, but that can be discussed with a potential buyer when the time comes.

In summary, this car is basically a low miles STI with a Forester body. There isn't much left besides body panels and interior that is stock. I never worry about getting in and going for a drive and on the interstate I see consistent 21mpg. To duplicate this build would cost you over $50,000. I bought the car wanting to have the most fun Forester you could have. I feel I have succeeded. On roads like the Dragon there isn't much that hangs on, and at autocross I am beating Gen 1 Elises and fully prepped STIs. I don't want to sell the car, in a perfect world I would have space for another car in my driveway, but I do not therefore the FXT has to go.

All spare parts will be included, including mats, luggage covers, owners manual, spare keys, and anything else I can find laying around.
