My experience has been nothing but noteworthy - I have previously owned Bmoores infamous 996tt. This car is more exciting in nearly every way. The sound is intoxicating, like a strait pipe 355. The 2nd and 3rd gears pull strong and is one of the most striking and classic ferrari designs you can buy on the used market today.
As a sample of what this car sounds like, please view this early dyno video:
The car runs a conservative 5.5psi and produces 540rwhp. When polished up, and with fully polished Fiske FM5 wheels, at any show, meet or valet spot it attracts an enormous crowd. It doesn't have the sharp angular lines of new ferraris, but looks every bit as fresh and exotic as any modern supercar with kids and elderly hanging out of their windows to take a picture of you driving down the street. Despite that, it does manage to be quite elegant - something lost in todays "more is better" design attitudes. I have raced cammed c6 Z06's and the car is every bit as quick. Its not the sexy but slow 360 cars that people have become familiar with - it is truly an affordable way to own a ferrari, but have exciting performance up to par with many current sports cars.
The car has been impeccably maintained by Winslow Mankin at Ferrari of Austin and he can provide its maintenance history and impressions. He considers this to be a solid and reliable "Novitec" quality build. Ready to beat on every weekend without concern. The TT kit has been on for over 8000 miles with absolutely no issues. There is a BL convertible 360 TT in dallas which also has several thousand miles, recently sold for quite a bit more than I am asking and ran at runway rivalry two weeks ago with zero issues to date.
The Car was build by Justin Nenni and the Boost Logic team 3 years ago - requires nothing and will make someone a proud very proud ferrari owner for years to come. It has been my first Ferrari and treated me extremely well. It is a little heartbreaking to seperate from it - because I considered it a landmark event in my life, but now is the time; with that said, I am in no hurry and 360 prices are VERY stable. Even without a TT kit, a 2003 360 will run in the high 70's.
you can find the entire build thread of this car on ferrari chat located here:

When I bought this car, my dilemma was considering what many of you probably consider: 997TT, GTR, ZR1, 430, G, etc. etc.
I settled on the Ferrari because I believe in Boost Logics quality which has lived up to expectation. I wanted an exotic and the deal was impossible to beat. If that sounds like you, please reach out personally and I'd love to discuss you being the new shephard of what is literally one of only a handful of known twin turbo 360's in the world.
Goods:
5857 twin turbo PT kit with water to air intercoolers
Black exterior, grey interior with Alpine head unit
19" forged Fikse FM5 wheels
quite possibly the most fun you can have in an auto ferrari under 100k
Issues:
Sticky interior
Currently running 1000cc injectors, going to step down to 750cc to manage 1st gear lurch
Some front end paint fade under the clear bra (normal)
Price is 79999
located in austin texas
i've decided on what to get next and that is the reason for selling
the next maintenance on the car is timing (3000 miles away)
the next maintenance after that would be clutch (5000+ miles away)

Thanks - its extremely fun and every bit as quick as a 997TT - an impressive accomplishment from what was a fairly tame factory car.
Motor and Trans are stock - they are nowhere close to the limit at only 5.5psi. New head studs is all it needed to prevent head lift. There are options to build the motor for more boost. People fear Ferrari maintenance and repair, but in all honestly, the car is cheaper to run than my e60 M5 and my RR S/C sport.

The car would require pistons and rods.
The Mid engine ferrari's are you might already know are very simple and easy to work on. The motor is designed to be removed and can be done in an afternoon.
The motor build, which a company like boost Logic or others can easily do - runs about the same as any other motor build that requires custom parts - not that far off from a GT R build from back of the napkin quotes i've gotten.
at 10psi, which the clutch, fuel and turbo setup can currently handle, should produce between 650 and 700rwhp. If that is your plan, it can be done. Serious HP has done it before.
I chose not to go that route because the car is fun as it is, dead reliable , no issues and already hairy to manage on public roads.
