shopping for 2009-2010 C4S

Or T4S or maybe even C2S

What do I need to make certain of?

What should be a good price?

CPO or aftermarket warranty?

MUST HAVE options?

I want to buy with resale in mind. I took a bath on my 996 C4S (which I am not parting with just yet, but I suspect I am WAY upside down)...but I want to replace the DD car with the 997.2 and THEN sell it, under less pressure...(or would that be MORE pressure...I suppose its all how you look at it...)...

Or, should I toss these ideas and just go turbo? or, gasp, BMW or Maserati...?

Thinking out loud tonight...

more specifically...on buying the car

I am looking for a silver over black car, ideally, less than 23-35k miles, CPO/warranty, lumbar drivers, sport exhaust, sport design wheels (am considering replacing the factor steering wheel with a new sport design wheel with paddles for PDK at a cost of around 1000-1200 bucks), considering putting on new style fuchs if I can't get one with sport design wheels, and would like to see if it makes sense to go for broke and get the 2010 with the X51...

At this point, shouldn't I also consider a C2S?

Anyway - that hopefully will get guys in the ballpark as to what I can expect to spend on a car like this?

USAA is my bank, 3.49% for 84 mo. is my plan. Zero down. I would like to get on the low side of the average cost basis (what does that look like...? ) and then turn around in a year or so (selling with CPO warranty still left on car to entice next buyer...)...

How does this plan sound?

(helluva lot better than a new Golf R lease, right...? I think so...)

84 months? Sounds like you're in for another upside-down experience. Good luck in your search.

84 mo loan as I may not keep the car over a year - I don't think, if I get a car at a decent price, that I should lose that much in depreciation...but I am ready to be educated on this topic!!
