It’s a 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Black Edition. This car is one of 19 sold to the public, making it one of the most exclusive e92 M3s you can buy from a production standpoint. Each car sold for $81,875 and some were immediately flipped at a profit.

It’s hard to price the car b/c of it’s rarity, but there does happen to be one more of the 19 for sale in Long Island right now – and I based the price off of that one (17k miles, $60k).

MECHANICAL CONDITION:
Car is adult driven and has never been raced. I’m the second owner, and have put around 14k miles on it over the last year and a half. The car is babied: NEVER revved when cold, or shifted beyond 2.5-3k until oil is fully warm. This car isn’t driven a mile down the road for groceries and not allowed to properly warm up. Each time it’s driven, the car sufficiently warms to operating temps before being shut off. Car is not driven in city, only suburbs. No launch control starts.

Oil is changed halfway between BMW recommended intervals. It just had a complete inspection by BMW and is mechanically flawless. During this inspection, spark plugs and diff fluid were changed, and all fluids topped off. Michelin Pilot Super Sports have 16k miles on them.


INTERIOR:
I don’t smoke, nor do I eat or drink in the car. Seats get Meguiar’s Gold leather conditioner. Occasionally, I’ll occasionally use a dash/trim protector for the plastic parts. Interior is clean, no defects. Back seats have gotten use once or twice.

BODY:
Car is garaged at work and at home, doesn’t see snow, but is driven in rain. Car is in perfect exterior condition. No accidents/fender benders/parking lot dings/etc.

PAINT:
Paint does a few nicks, as evidenced in my photos, from normal highway driving. I have touched up the rock chipped areas with special ordered BMW frozen black touch up paint. I opted not to put a clear bra on the car as I didn’t want to add sheen to the paint. As a result, I do have some chips.


CARE:
Many people ask me how I maintain the paint color. It is not a difficult car to care for, with discipline. Car washes were only done by hand, and using exclusively Swissvax matte products. I do have a new in box Dr. Beasley’s matte paint sealant, in addition to my used shampoo and detailing products, that I will provide with the car. These products are valued at over $300. I never hand dried the car with a towel, instead I used an electric leaf blower.
