P1 Motorcars is introducing our very own 2008 Shelby GT500KR (King of the Road). This is # 187 of only 1000 KR’s made in 2008 with the dash plaque and all original documentation. This car is in stock form and has never been modified, raced or smoked in. The vehicle has all original paint with no accidents, dents or scratches. All four chrome wheels are true, and have no curb rash. This car was adult driven for 17,84X miles, and has brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires, recent fluids/alignment and needs nothing, making it a turn-key, collector’s car.
SHELBY GT500KR:
This car features a carbon composite hood with functional scoops and vents, and hood pins modeled after the original 1968KR. In addition, the car features a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon mirrors and functional brake cooling ducts. The power output for the KR was rated at 540hp and 510 ft/lbs torque at the flywheel, but we wanted to verify Ford’s claim and put this car on our Dynojet chassis dyno and discovered the car actually makes 534 wheel horse power, and 512 wheel torque which translates into well over 600hp with a drivetrain loss of approximately 15%!!
