I am a current (panamera) and former Porsche owner, and am currently shopping for a Macan for my wife. This process has had me call several dealerships as you can imagine as many of you probably have done yourself when you were in the market or if you are currently searching.

I will preface this by saying that I have no connections with the auto industry and I am not a dealer/salesman in any way, but rather a fellow Porsche nut who wants to share some helpful info to those who could use it.

For those reading this who are in the market and/or looking to buy......

There is a a dealer in Fayetteville, NC who is willing to do substantial discounts on a purchase. Many dealers I called were willing to discount them $1500-2000, but this dealer in NC was willing to do around $4000 or maybe more if pushed on a $62k MSRP vehicle. The dealer in NC is a smaller dealer and a real pleasure to deal with. Contact Greg Dudak (manager) or Paul in Porsche sales at 910-487-0000 for info.

Jim Ellis Porsche in Atlanta has a great lease special going on for a new 2016 Macan S for $729/mo sign and drive with absolutely no money down including all maintenance for the first 3 years. This is a 39 month lease. This is a Macan S that stickers about $62 k and has some really decent options on it. Call 770-234-2100.

For Macan S's that are higher in the MSRP, the discounts could be larger. The dealer in NC has a couple of 2016 turbo's that the manager said he would give large discounts to move, maybe even more than the S's.

I hope this helps some for those like myself trying to find a decent price on a new Macan. The value is not yet there in the used market, and to me it makes more sense to buy a new at this time as the used ones (not many) are not discounted a lot yet.

Just a follow up to this....the Fayetteville, NC dealer is heavily discounting the Macan Turbos they have. The manager implied up to $10k. A great deal if your in the market.

 

I used Jim Ellis in Atlanta for a purchase (albeit a Cayenne) and got a great deal and love their service too. Just my two cents

Thank you for the info. My father is looking for one. The dealer here in PA tried to tell us they only make 9% on them. I will check out those dealer and see what price we can work out.

I wonder what's the cost of shipping from NC to CA? The Porsche of Hawaii dealer generally does not budge from MSRP.

It appears they deleted the thread. It was on here or RL. I would call and ask for the Sales Manger. It had his contact on the thread. The thread stated all Macan's at 11% off MSRP to include S and Turbo.

 

I called the other day and they said the deal is on any macan they have on the lot. I have been speaking with Chad Gilbert from there and he has been super helpful. His contact number is (919) 452-1004. Trying to work out the final details and shipping on one.

 

Wife bought one today, the 11% is real.

 

Just heard from the sales guy. He said the sale ends on Feb 8th.
