1986 Porsche 930 Turbo with a clean Carfax, 3 total owners and 40K original miles. This is a California optioned car that has been meticulously maintained. Paint is in excellent shape for the year, and the interior is in excellent condition. If you are in the market for an investment grade vehicle this is it, as this is a no story air cooled turbo. It runs and drives like new, and the a/c is ice cold.

Interior:

The interior is in excellent condition. The Headliner is in excellent shape, the sunroof works as it should and does not leak. All the glass is in excellent shape and does not have any scratches and or cracks. Seats are like new with minimal wear. All seat motors operate as they should. Dash is in good shape as well. Center shift console section does have a hairline crack in it. Carpet is in excellent shape as well. All electronics operate as they should. All Gauges operate as they should. A/C is ice cold and does not have any troublesome hot cold issues many of the 930s are plagued with. All window motors work as they should. Radio has been upgraded and sounds great. (The factory radio does come with the car) Overall the interior is very sorted and in great shape with no foul odors and or smoker residue.



Exterior:

The garnet red exterior is in excellent shape, no accident history. Paint shows very well. Minor chipping on the rear rock guards, Factory touch up paint will be included. All body panels are in excellent condition overall with no dings or dents. The Signature whale tale is not cracking or dry. No rust under the window gaskets, or any of the problematic areas. All window trim gaskets in excellent shape. Paint is even throughout with no discoloration. Sunroof felt is in excellent shape. Wheels are in pristine condition with no pitting or curb marks, The grippy Nexens have 75% tread life remaining. Front underside guard is in excellent shape with minor rash. Overall the car is very well sorted and does not need much to win the next PCA show.



Drivetrain:

This is a Turn Key 930 turbo with no hidden issues, factory KKK turbo still in place. It is set to 1.0 bar which is .2 over factory, this was a common upgrade as it is just the replacement of a wastegate spring. Test pipes were fitted in place of the catalytic converters and it sounds glorious! The Factory wastegate spring along with factory exhaust parts come with this car. The motor does not leak or burn oil, it holds constant pressure at idle and when the turbo spools it shoots you forward like a catapult. The 4 speed transmission does not grind or slip out of gear, noted to be one of the most versatile transmissions of its time the gear box really has held up quite well. Clutch releases at the perfect point and does not slip, brakes are in excellent shape and stop this 930 in a straight line. The only thing this turbo needs is a new driver!
