I purchased the car on 3/12/02 from the original owner with 4,527 miles. Carfax shows an accident with another vehicle on 4/27/98. Original owner backed into a car in parking lot and scratched his rim and put a dent in rear right fender wheel well. No paint damage and can be repaired by pulling dent out. Never had this done, as dent never really bothered me. Car had 127 miles on it when accident occurred! Original owner filed an insurance claim in Massachusetts. Massachusetts Damage Reports:
• Do not include an assessment of the damage severity
• Are required if the estimated damage exceeds $1,000
Original owner had the rim/tire replaced by Wheel Enhancement (Porsche hollow spoke 10x18 (40mm) with Bridgestone 285/30-18 tire mounted/balanced) for $1,750 including shipping and insurance.
