SOLD!

Recently picked up an E92 M3 in great condition so I'm listing this. The interior in this is 9/10 (small bit of wear on seat of driver's left bolster) due to me cleaning and treating the leather once a week and I would ideally like to let it go and pick something up I wouldn't mind letting my German Shepherd tag along in (he isn't allowed in this car). Apologies in advance if I leave anything out of this ad, I'm including everything I can think of and am happy to answer any questions regarding the car.

Have put well over 15 grand into this car to make sure it's been reliable and fun at the same time. This thing drives amazingly. The sale price is already my bottom line I'm willing to accept so please don't low ball me. After looking through the rundown of parts and work done to this, you'll understand that this is priced incredibly well. Open to straight trades or trade+cash on your end. I've priced the car according to similarly or lesser equipped cars priced even higher so thank you for your feedback but the kbb value doesn't mean much to me. You're more than welcome to pursue one of the cheaper cars you saw elsewhere and I won't be offended. Now, to some pictures of the car and details.

Only imperfection in the interior is shown in the next two pictures. Small wear on bolster of driver's seat. Literally nothing else wrong with the car.

As you can see, not a single expense was spared with this car. Easily over 16 grand invested in fun and reliability. I will also have the car fully detailed and paint corrected for the new owner at no extra cost.

Any other questions, I'm happy to answer honestly. If the car is bought and not traded, I would include all OE parts with the car (stock hood, intake, cat, springs, etc.) and the stock split spoke wheels with winter tires.

It's optioned well..sunroof, heated leather and power seats, premium sound, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, pretty much everything.

I have full service history and receipts for every single thing I've done since I took ownership at 48k miles. All scheduled maintenance has been performed at a dealer or reputable independent specialist shop as well as other preventative maintenance. Carbon Cleaning, Timing Belt, Transmission Flush and Service, etc all taken care of already. I'm OCD with my cars and the bumper has been resprayed when the rock chips got bad enough to irritate me. No accidents. Clean title in hand. 2 key fobs and 1 valet key included.

Nothing to hide here. Car does not look like it's 100k miles old. Paint in general looks fantastic for its age and only minimal imperfections. Have no problem keeping it if I don't get any offers. Like I said, just want something a bit more practical for my dog.

Trade options: ideally looking for something I can use for towing, preferably diesel but not picky. Taureg, Cayenne, Allroad, Jeeps, etc.

VIN - WAUDF78E87A015534 (ran it on a few different checks and it came out clean, I'd be surprised if anyone found anything.)

email: "furquiza at indiana .edu"

Thanks for looking. Not parting out anything currently on the car. It only needs a hpfp and bigger turbo to go stage 3, I would ideally want the next owner to enjoy it as is and maintain it like an enthusiast. If I forgot anything you want to know, I'll add it as soon as I can. Sorry for the iphone quality pics. Make a trade offer, worst I can say is no thank you!

thanks Juan! appreciate the kind words

ad has been updated with service info, modifications, pricing, etc. few interesting trade offers received already but nothing that's catching my eye yet.

slightly more motivated to move on to something else so i'm open to offers. trade or otherwise. depending on how long this sits, i may just do a new full exhaust setup rather than just repairing the flex pipe. if i do, the new owner would receive the current exhaust and test pipe as well...but i also may decide to keep it at that point

currently it does not. i have the stock cat that would come with the car so it would just need swapped out and swapped back in (could be a PITA for some, I know). if you are interested, PM me and I'd be willing to work on the price to factor this in to the sale.

it's a tiptronic transmission

^^^^ i should elaborate. the car is tuned to run the test pipe so itshould pass emissions as long as the center doesn't do a sniff test. there are no dash lights or codes thrown.

if the test center does a sniff test, i'd recommend just swapping the pipe out and back in afterwards.

decent amount of interest but nothing really hitting my number or peaking my trade interest so the car is still available.

as of now, i plan on leaving it for sale or trade for another week or two. willing to accept $12,000 for the car during this time but not any lower. don't need to sell nor do i a hundred percent want to. only trade offers i'm particularly interested in at this point would be a well taken care of and clean e36 m3 or a higher mileage/rebuilt e46 m3. would be willing to add some cash for the right e46.

if it doesn't sell/trade by the next two weeks, i plan on doing a stage 3 JHM setup. at this point i will just be keeping the car and enjoying the new work done to it.

initially planned on taking this down and keeping the car at this point. however, recently have been presented with a business opportunity in orange county which would obviously require relocating. ultimately, i'll decide whether i'm making the move within the month. as a result, i'll leave this up for sale for the sake of freeing up some cash for the move. thanks for looking.

bump. looking more and more like i'm making the move to Orange County, just waiting on the paperwork. open to reasonable offers at this point, worst I will say is "no thank you." don't need to sell/trade but again, not against freeing up some funds before a big move. thanks for looking.

car has climbed up to 104k miles since posting the ad (daily driver). replacement fog lights are ordered already and will be installed/included for the new owner. once i finish some fine tuning on my m3, a full JHM HFC exhaust set up will be added in the sale/installed. need the m3 to be reliable first before working on this since they are my only two cars currently.

update: instead of a full JHM HFC set up, i chose to go with their HFC and a Techtonics Downpipe. After further researching, this makes the most sense as far as performance for the money is concerned while still allowing the set up to be fully customizable for the next owner should they wish to add/change anything. The JHM rear section, while great, is more limited in this regard.

Also ordered a replacement cam follower to replace the current one. Nothing wrong with it, just preventative.

update:

mileage is currently at 104,500.

new exhaust set up is installed. replacing o2 sensors in the next week or 2 as well.
fog light harnesses and bulbs have been replaced and look/work great.
installed deAutoLed city lights after confirming they are better quality and last longer (lifetime warranty) than what was on the car
(these updates have been adjusted in the original ad as well)

had it inspected and the driver's side inner cv boot is starting to show some wear. not to the point of concern but it is next on my list and if the car doesn't sell i will be replacing all of the cv boots accordingly. i had a concern that the wheel bearings may need replaced soon but the inspection showed they were fine. may change them out for the hell of it if kept, but shouldn't be something a new owner should worry about. (i'm ocd with my cars)

previously mentioned cam follower will be installed at the next oil change (105,000 miles).
really can't stress enough how well this car has been taken care of and looked after.

i've been given until Nov 14th to move to Orange County as of now so as a result, priorities have changed a bit. will keep the car at my parents' in Chicagoland to use whenever i visit for the holidays unless it sells or i can trade for something i can use to trailer the m3 out west, preferably diesel but doesn't really matter (taureg, jeep, cayenne, etc.)

would sell for $11,000.

thanks for looking

forgot to mention in the original post that the car has been VAGCOM'd to remove the seatbelt chime, fog lights remain on when high-beams are used, euro spec (turn signal bulbs only on when being used). will add photos of the new city lights installed when i get the chance, they look much better than anything i've seen so far.
