The car has just under 44K miles and was just serviced in July at Sonnen Porsche in Mill Valley, CA including bi-yearly brake fluid flush (the car has always been dealer maintained) and passed its inspection with flying colors. I have owned the car since December 2009 and it was under CPO when I purchased (I am the 4th owner). Sharkwerks installed a Europipe "quiet" exhaust and software tune in 2010/2011 along with updated blow-off valves and new Bosch spark plugs (replace the lousy stock Beru plugs). I also had installed a set of JRZ RS Pro dampers, but didn't like how the car felt with solid top mounts so last year swapped back to stock shocks with TechArt (Eibach) springs. The car has RSS toe and lateral links which dramatically helped the handling.
I had 19" Champion Motorsport wheels for a short period, but the car rode awful on 19's and the 315/25-19 Michelins ran out of supply so I went back to 18's in the latter part of 2012. So glad I did. The car has HRE R40's with 996 GT2 size Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's (315/30-18 and 235/40-18) in Porsche N4 spec. The tires have at least 75% tread remaining, although I haven't checked recently, but I put less than 2K miles a year on the car the last few years. I also installed GT2 rear fender liners with the GT2 brackets to get better tire clearance. There are no tire rubbing issues whatsoever.
You can see the work Sharkwerks initially did on the car in early 2011 here:

Then after they put on the HRE R40's:

In addition to what you see here, I still have the original Technomagnesio wheels and original exhaust, original suspension links and original springs. One of the original rear wheels had been repaired on the inside by a previous owner. The car is also running the 997 short shifter (still have the original in a box) and I had swapped out the CD holder and ash tray for the OE storage bins. I still have the CD holder and ash tray as well. All of these parts would go with the car.
The car also includes a brand new set of OE black floor mats still in the wrapper (the current driver's side mat has a small hole by the accelerator from wear) as well as a brand new front OE splitter (still in wrapper).
I've had the title free and clear for many years. I had been on the fence about selling as I still love the visceral feel with the manual gearbox and Mezger engine, etc., but am thinking of moving to a 991 Turbo S and don't really need 2 Turbos (it was insane enough having 2 997 Cups and this car at once). I never tracked this car as I race Cup cars, so never had any desire to take this car on track. Would be more than happy to answer more questions or take photos of anything else you would like to see. Located in SF Bay Area.

Thanks, but about the only cars I'd consider trading for (plus cash) are 2014+ 991TTS, 2014+ 991 GT3 (w/o lwb's) or 997.2 GT3 RS. Not sure you'd really want a Turbo for a track car anyway, especially this one.
