I prefer texting as I working a shielded building and phone calls are difficult to answer without notice.
1975 Silver anniversary 911S.
Two owner car, purchased in early 1980's still with California Pink slip of sale, registered and up to date.
136,000 miles. Recently serviced by Deiter's in San Diego. No rust that I can find been stored in a garage since about 1991. Gas may actually be that old as well.
Issues.
Odometer stopped working about 100 miles ago in the 1990's .
Tear in Passenger seat
Definitly leaking oil and most of engine lines will need to be replaced.
Battery light on dash but is charging.
Very high idle on startup ~2100rpm when warm will drop to 1K or so.
Lots of small cosmetics
Good.
Very clean shell
No real modifications other then more modern radio.
No sunroof narrow body that is very very original.
This car is on the cusp, you could turn it into a monster RS replica and not have to slave over the rust, or you could strip ot out for SCCA racing or with some elbow grease and a bit of cash have a very reliable weekend or daily driver if you wanted.
Price.
I have had a few local experts look at it and a few online and they all agree that it should sell for 27.5-30K in today's market. I will be moving the car to my offsite storage later this week if you need any additional photos please ask quickly as it is quite a bit from the house.
FYI I am not a dealer, I just know the family and they know that I have all sorts of old cars and I am doing this as a favor. You will have to deal with them for title transfer but they have agreed to a price in the above range. I keep buying cars and never sell them most of the tiem.
Let the photos do most of the talking.
Car also has original wheels that look like this but will need paint. I believe they have the OEM tires on them and are rotted through.
