1989 e30 2jz single turbo

Year: 1989
Make: BMW
Model: 3-Series
Price: $16000
Mileage: 80000
Color: RED
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NY
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Up for sale is my 1989 BMW E30. The car was originally a 325i however I swapped in a 3.0 2jz non vvti motor. This swap is COMPLETE. Car does run and drive and will be adding a walk around video tomorrow. This swap was done by a local shop in NYC tri state area. This is not a hack job but a very thorough and reliable build. Car starts up one shot every time, no smoking or oil leaks. Motor is very strong.

Parts

2jzgte 3.0 non vvti motor
All new Gaskets and arp studs
PT 6766 Turbo
R154 with marlin crawler rebuild kit
Ebay manifold
Tial wastegate
550cc injectors
1 Piece driveshaft
5 lug e36 swap with E36 m3 calipers
v2 AEM currently scheduled to be retuned as early as next week
LSD Diff with 298 gears
AEM boost gauges
D2 coilovers that needs to be dialed in a bit better. Back is too stiff
Clean title, clean history

Car does not have AC
Interior is in great shape minus 2 or so inch rip on driver seat
Body of the car is super clean with no RUST!
Everything works in the car i.e radio, windows, sunroof etc...

I am open to reasonable offers...Keep in mind this is not a backyard special, this build was done right.

Thanks for looking!

Last dyno was around 430whp. Will be going back on the dyno this week. Should be around 550whp.Will post dyno sheets when that is done.

Why such a large turbo for such low power numbers? A 6766 is a 900+whp turbo for a car like that. When does it spool up?

500+ wheel wasnt my end goal but sometimes life doesn't allow you to make 900whp lol. At the end of the day you need supporting mods to do 900whp such as a better fuel system, clutch and possible internals and head work. My goal was 700-750whp but my finances changed a bit. 500whp was the most I was willing to go for now because of the injectors.

The 6766 is a very versatile turbo. My 10:1 2JZ made 914 through one maxxed out on E85, but also runs around in the low 600s on pump 93 and never feels especially lazy.

I get full boost (34psi) in the 4500rpm range.

I've had 35Rs before that naturally spool up faster, but I much prefer the slightly delayed (in comparison) 6766 as it helps to not haze the tires as boost comes in violently bu no at such a low RPM.

I'll agree as said above. The 6766 is a great street turbo. I run a 6266 and its a tire fryer!

Always did love the E30 chassis. You've made a real sleeper out of it with the 2J. GLWS
