Thought I'd post this in here to get more traffic and because when I was looking for a 996, I received a lot of PMs from people not advertising their car for sale, but was toying with the idea. I'm hoping that will be the case, as it has so far from the other forum.

Established budget is $65K
Looking for a 997.1TT Coupe only
Ideally black on black
6 speeds only
Would like to keep mileage in the "sweet spot" of 30-50K but "higher mileage" cars are welcome too assuming proper maintenance and documentation to support it.
Mods are welcomed (tuned, exhaust, clutch, etc.)
Closer to California the better, but I already have shipping company ready if I need to ship

Ebay as of 2/22

I see a grey 07 with 52K for $60K.

There is another grey 07 with some great options and PCCB and only 12K Miles. $80K .... Some car though! Very well optioned and unique.

There are two black cars with very high miles, and also two other black cars with active bids and they look to be going north of what you are willing to pay.

Black cars get scooped up very quickly and may drive a premium.

There is a black car with 69K for $58,500

There is a charcoal car with 67K for $59,000


all of the cars I pulled are 6 speeds, and I am in no way shape or form associated with any of them! Just trying to help a fellow 6speeder out.

 

That grey 07 is very nice. Think it has 21k miles vs 12.

These two cars below are good recent benchmarks for what you can expect to get for $65K-$70K. Of course, they're lower mileage than what you're looking for, but you get the idea.

That 997 was very well bought

 

That Bring a Trailer sale was a very fair deal for that mileage and condition.

 

I believe there was some mention in the ad or comments about that BaT 997 having had a rat infestation and buyers were worried about an odor inside and potentially chewed up wiring. Otherwise yeah, extremely good price for the miles and options, even with the buyer's fee.

 

Wiring is something I don't want to mess with haha.
