Garrett GT30 turbos

Two Garrett GT3076 ball bearing water cooled turbochargers. These were on a 996TT for dyno purposes only. They have had no street time. Perfect condition, practically new. Turbine housings are .63 A/R. Compressor inlets are special order 3" to fit the 996TT and 997TT. They were $3600 for the pair, I will take $2000.

Thanks,

Great question about the dyno. I wish I had the info but unfortunately I don't know...it wasn't my car. It was on a 3.8L conversion, so it would not be comparable to how they would perform on a stock engine anyway. This was I think the 5th set of turbos he tried and he decided to go even bigger. You can probably guess who he is as there are only a few people on the forum that have done this (another hint- he is no longer on the forum).

Back to the original question. Here is some general info:
??? hp GT30/76R with stock heads and cams

The only GT30s I know of on cars at this time are the now famous "Sledgehammer" 997TT of dk996TT tuned by Switzer,
My new 997TT w/Twin 30R's...
and the infamous DrJitsu's 996 GT2 tuned by Protomotive and installed by Tommy Banh.
Heeere Tweety, Tweety, Tweety...come out and play!

They are not direct bolt ons and this is not a simple or basic upgrade. If you are looking to break out of the 700hp club, these turbos may be for you as they are capable of 1000hp.

Here are a few pics. I will post some comparison shots of one next to a K16, K24, K24/18G and GT28.

These turbos are awesome, ladies and gentleman. However you will need to adapter kit (Vivids/AFI's is what I used) and a small amount of fabrication and then tuning. Oh, and you will need a fuel system, lol.

Its not a weekend project but it is a proven way tol have the fastest stock block 996 around, guaranteed!
