This came out of a 996 Carrera and is very slightly used. It's still in great shape.
The knob itself comes in Carbon Fiber with an aluminum accent with a grayscale Porsche emblem. When i purchased this shifter it did not come with a boot, however i found one and bought it for this and never used it. The boot comes in black leather and is brand new. The boot that is included will need to be cut and trimmed to fit this shift knob, or you can use your existing boot with a little modification that is not too hard. The clip on the bottom of the boot is an original Porsche part so it will snap right on to your center console.

As long as you have a 996 or Boxster S, it shouldn't be a problem. Like i said it takes a little modification to do it, but many 6speeders have done so with no problem. Takes a bit of cutting and 2 zip ties [which is how they are attached when you purchase them with the boot from Porsche].
