We are now carrying a couple of products that help defeat road side cameras from sending you tickets in the mail. In New York there are so many red light cameras now it is hard to avoid getting a ticket.
We are offering an spray that you spray directly onto the plate that cannot be seen and will blur the plate when the flashbulb hits it. It's definitely noticeable on the car at an angle. From behind you at street level it's not noticeable. The aerosol is not noticeable at all but, like I said, that only blurs the flash. Can you get a ticket for having the license plate cover on the car? Probably, I only use the aerosol on mine because I am afraid to get a ticket. I have a bunch of customers that work in the penal system here in NY and they all have the covers on there cars and they have never been pulled over for it. But, even if they do, they do have a badge that they can show the cop.
As for the EZ-Pass, I do not know the answer to that but I would assume that you can't get a ticket for that because you paid your EZ-Pass and it's not that it did not match the plate, they just didn't see the plate. But if you don't have an EZ-Pass, they can't send you a ticket either. Many of our customers go down to Atlantic City with these on there cars and I have never heard of them receiving a ticket for that.

Very interested. Any pictures of the plate installed?
I will have my back up camera mounted on the top part of the plate, right in the center which covers the middle half of the plate... does that interfere with the Blocker?
The back up camera will not interfere with the plate blocker at all. This one is completely flat and you can install a radar, back-up camera, license plate bracket, it does not change anything with the plate other than the fact that the cameras can't read them.

wait... what does a plate blocker look like? Is it like the frame of the plate? Or is is just my imagination?
It's a cover that is flat and is the same dimension of the plate. It just installs on top of the plate. It is basically a special piece of plastic. It is very flexible and resistant to debris and will not break. You can still install covers and any other things you want to on your plate.
