The retail on this system is now over $6K. AST has been selected as a shock supplier to the Grand Am Continental Tire Challenge. They will be using a remote reservoir version of this system. The BMW guys are all moving to AST, wonder why the Porsche community has barely heard of them?

I've had my 5100s on my E46 M3 for a year now, really great and solid suspension.
Got them new and paid just little more of your asking price for my BMW, I can't understand the difference in pricing, they are essentially the same, just because they're built for P-cars they have to be double the price .
Oh and one more thing, AST doesn't stock these, they're special ordered and have to be built in Holland, so you're looking at normally 2 months to get them, in my case I waited 4 months ! so here is a BIG advantage IMO for anyone whos looking for quality dampers.
Good luck with the sale !

It's a great system isn't it? Just to be clear, the $6K is for my entire package. The extra options that are not in the basic kit are the camber plates (approx $400), the GT3 sways (approx $500), the extra front drop links and threaded drop link brackets. I saw that they actually dropped the prices on the BMW parts (due to the volumes they are selling to the BMW folks), but the Porsche stuff is low volume brand new & for whatever reason increasing in price. You're right, doesnt make sense, but if anyone wants these they'll be getting a great price!

Still have this system, sitting unused in a box... If anyone is looking for a killer suspension for the track yet still streetable, let me know. AST keeps getting great press on all their products.

If anyone is at all interested, the system will be going on Ebay soon. I need to get my son his first car... $2800 OBO for everything - coilovers, sways, droplinks, camber plates.
