It's a place like this for old guys that have nothing better to do than to talk about cars!!!
---PS. Has anyone heard the Naim system yet?
Naim is a British company that makes expensive and high end audio gear. In my opinion I do not think their equipment is worth the $, and you would be hard pressed to find much of their product for sale here in the US.
I believe Bentley is looking to have a leg up on the industy with this offering.
For sure it's worlds better quality than BOSE (aka Buy Other Stereo Equipment), but I am not sure it's worth the $ Bentley charges for it.
"Sounds" (no pun intended) like you ordered a nice car. What color combo?
Outside is white with chrome grills and painted wheels.
Inside is black and saffron with deviating stitching on all but the diamond leather and olive ash wood with door inserts.
Options are Naim, I hope it is worth the 6500, seat massagers, heated wheel, two tone wheel, valet key, back up camera, floor mats, I pod, phone. I think that’s it.

Combo sounds spectactular! I think the door inserts are worth the cost.
I would say that there are plenty of very good quality car stereo people who could do a fabulous system for less than what that naim system will cost!

very very nice, i believe linen is availible with the car now, wouldnt you want to mtach it up better with linen instead of saffron? all your options are the right options for that car because its hard to park in tight spaces because you cant see much.
I forgot the most important option to me and my wife; ceramic breaks.
As for the colors, we normally pick outside first and had decided on Granit. When we started looking at samples both the wife and I fell in love with a white car with same interior as the one we ordered. We felt the only other color that did the inside Justus was black. I have had black and hate the upkeep so white is it. This will be my first white car?
Funny how we decided on the GT Speed. I have a DB9 with sport pack and had a deposit on a DBS order slot. I was invited to my dealer for the test drive. The car is spectacular to drive, however subjective issues left me a little cold. It somehow seems to not have the sole of the Vanquish, or even the DB9 and a bit like a DB9 with aftermarket parts. I know that it is not, however it seems to not have its own character.
My wife saw the GT and really liked the looks so our dealer handed us the keys to the speed. I drove the car down the block and let my wife drive it back. My wife loved the car and I was taken aback by the quality of the interior and overall build. Due to time and traffic we never got above 40 on a straight road so I arranged for a test drive latter.
Once out on the highway the cars true character comes to life. Surprisingly on a twisty mountain road the car is as much fun as the DBS. Not as fast at the apex due to the tonnage, however probably faster out due to AWD and surprisingly nimble. The steering has as much feel as the DBS only lighter and the ceramic breaks are almost as good as the DBS. DBS are the best breaks I have ever felt for modulation so from now on they are the standard from which I will judge.
Since I was looking for a more comfortable car than the DB9 on the highway and one that was as good on the mountain roads the speed was it. I am still stunned that this car drives the way it does. It seems to go against all logic.
Ceramic brakes are great but wait until you find out what they cost to replace! $30K on the Enzo and equally pricey on others.
Based upon the Bentley's heritage it does not surprise me to learn of its agility.
This is what's so intriguing to me about the monster size of the car!
i dont think he would be replacing them anytime soon greg, even if it will be a daily driver, but suprisingly enough you guys are right, even at 60+ MPH on a twisty road the gt/gt speed in very nimble and easy to control, (yes i have experience with the gt speed in malibu) theres even really no bodyroll so when your turning the car hunkers down a bit to give you a lower center of gravity, its really amazing with loop style onramps at 50 MPH LOLLLLL, and dont forget roundabouts in Calabasas at 4:00AM LOL.

I would not expect replacements soon but the cost will not be pleasant!
Calabassas? Holy smokes, Viktor, you are going to get tickets for sure!!!
